Lakota Designs is an American Indian owned and operated business that has been in existence since July of 1986.

Lakota Designs is a copyrighted design line that is the vision of BHE Industries, Inc.; owned by Lowell and Tami Pfleger and located in Rapid City, South Dakota. This line of apparel was created out of their deep interest in Plains Indian art and culture and Lowell’s roots in the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.

Lakota Designs is fortunate to be associated with award-winning Lakota artists Donald F. Montileaux, Jim Yellowhawk, Sandy Swallow, Jackie Larson Bread, Ivan Long, Martin Red Bear, and David Dragonfly. We are honored that they have entrusted these originial designs exclusively to BHE to market.
